Traveling by plane during pregnancy can be safe. Pregnant women without any complications can fly, but it will increase the risk of venous clotting of blood vessels (deep vein thrombosis / DVT) then you need to consult before setting off with your obstetrician. It is advisable not to fly before 12 weeks of age womb or after 28 weeks.
